PC-2002-35 <br />RESOLUTION DENYING CASE PUD-13, THE APPLICATION OF RUSSELL <br />AND BETTY MOREIRA <br />WHEREAS, Russell and Betty Moreira have applied for PUD development plan <br />approval to allow the subdivision of an approximately 2.23-acre site into <br />four single-family lots located at 558 Sycamore Road; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development) - LDR/A <br />(Low Density Residential/Agricultural) District; and <br />WHEREAS, at its duly noticed public hearing of June 12, 2002, the Planning <br />Commission considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and <br />recommendations of the City staff concerning this application; and <br />WHEREAS, the proposed project is within the North Sycamore Specific Plan area and <br />an Environmental Impact Report was prepazed and certified for the North <br />Sycamore Specific Plan, therefore, no additional environmental document <br />was prepazed for this proposed PUD plan; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the proposal for afour-lot plan <br />was not in keeping with the requirements to maintain a rural atmosphere <br />within the North Sycamore Specific Plan area. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Denies the application of Russell and Betty Moreira have for PUD <br />development plan approval to allow the subdivision of an approximately <br />2.23-acre site into four single-family lots located at 558 Sycamore Road. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective 15 days after its passage and <br />adoption unless appealed prior to that time. <br />
