<br />PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-2002-32 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR THE <br />APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON TO AMEND THE PLEASANTON <br />MUNICIPAL CODE, AS FILED UNDER CASE PRZ-14 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has filed an application to allow 42-inch tall fences in <br />residential front and street side yazd azeas by amending Chapter 18.84 (Site, Yard, <br />Bulk, Usable Open Space, and Landscaping Regulations) of Title 18 (Zoning) of the <br />Pleasanton Municipal Code; and <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of May 22, 2002, the Planning Commission received a proposed <br />negative declaration prepared for Case PRZ-l4; and <br />WHEREAS, the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of <br />the proposal; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the <br />applicable state and local guidelines governing the prepazation of Negative <br />Declarations; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the proposed project will have no potential for <br />adverse impacts on the site's wildlife; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission further fmds that approval of the proposed project would <br />not have any significant adverse effects on the environment. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Recommends approval of the Negative Declazation prepazed for Case PRZ-14, the <br />application of the City of Pleasanton to allow 42-inch tall fences in residential <br />front and street side yazd areas by amending Chapter 18.84 (Site, Yard, Bulk, <br />Usable Open Space, and Landscaping Regulations) of Title 18 (Zoning) of the <br />Pleasanton Municipal Code. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon passage and adoption. <br />
