CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA ORDINANCE NO. 1192 APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF DEVOR NURSERIES FOR PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT ZONING AND DEVELOPMENT PLAN APPROVAL FOR A RESIDENTIAL PROJECT ON APPROXIMATELY 25.5 ACRES LOCATED SOUTH OF MOHR AVENUE AND EAST OF THE SOUTHERN PACIFIC RAILROAD RIGHT-OF-WAY WHEREAS, DeVor Nurseries applied for Planned Unit Development zoning and development plan approval for construction of 95 single-family paired units and 65 single-family detached residential units on an approximately 25.5 acre site located south of Mohr Avenue and east of the Southern Pacific Railroad right-of-way; and WHEREAS, based on the Initial Environmental Study, a negative declaration was adopted by Council on April 16, 1985; and WHEREAS, Council received the Planning Commission's recommendation for approval of the development plan and rezoning; and WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on April 16, 1985; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that this development plan and rezoning is consistent with the General Plan policies of the City of Pleasanton; THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Approves the rezoning of an approximately 25.2 acre site located south of Mohr Avenue and east of the Southern Pacific Railroad right-of-way from the "A" (Agricultural) District to the "PUD" (Planned Unit Development)-Medium Density Residential District. Section 2: The Zoning Map of the City of Pleasanton dated April 18, 1960, on file with the City Clerk, designating and dividing the City into zoning districts is hereby amended by Zoning Unit Map #308, attached hereto as Exhibit "A" dated April 16, 1985, and incorporated herein by reference.
