CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1192 <br /> <br /> APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF DEVOR NURSERIES FOR PLANNED <br /> UNIT DEVELOPMENT ZONING AND DEVELOPMENT PLAN APPROVAL <br /> FOR A RESIDENTIAL PROJECT ON APPROXIMATELY 25.5 ACRES <br /> LOCATED SOUTH OF MOHR AVENUE AND EAST OF THE SOUTHERN <br /> PACIFIC RAILROAD RIGHT-OF-WAY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, DeVor Nurseries applied for Planned Unit Development <br /> zoning and development plan approval for construction of <br /> 95 single-family paired units and 65 single-family <br /> detached residential units on an approximately 25.5 acre <br /> site located south of Mohr Avenue and east of the <br /> Southern Pacific Railroad right-of-way; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, based on the Initial Environmental Study, a negative <br /> declaration was adopted by Council on April 16, 1985; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Council received the Planning Commission's <br /> recommendation for approval of the development plan and <br /> rezoning; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on April 16, <br /> 1985; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that this development plan and <br /> rezoning is consistent with the General Plan policies of <br /> the City of Pleasanton; <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the rezoning of an approximately 25.2 acre <br /> site located south of Mohr Avenue and east of the <br /> Southern Pacific Railroad right-of-way from the "A" <br /> (Agricultural) District to the "PUD" (Planned Unit <br /> Development)-Medium Density Residential District. <br /> <br />Section 2: The Zoning Map of the City of Pleasanton dated <br /> April 18, 1960, on file with the City Clerk, designating <br /> and dividing the City into zoning districts is hereby <br /> amended by Zoning Unit Map #308, attached hereto as <br /> Exhibit "A" dated April 16, 1985, and incorporated <br /> herein by reference. <br /> <br /> <br />
