PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-2002-28 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF LARRY MC COLM FOR <br />DESIGN REVIEW APPROVAL, AS FILED UNDER CASE PDR-197 <br />WHEREAS, Lany McColm has applied for design review approval to construct an <br />approximately 6,433-squaze-foot, second-floor addition to the existing commercial <br />building located at 350 Main Street; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is Central Commercial (C-C), Downtown Revitalization, <br />Core Area Overlay District; and <br />WHEREAS, at its duly noticed public hearing of Apri124, 2002, the Planning Commission <br />considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and recommendations of the <br />City staff concerning this application; and <br />WHEREAS, projects of this nature aze categorically exempt from the requirements of the <br />California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA); and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the proposed building addition meets <br />all applicable requirements of the Pleasanton Municipal Code, new Downtown <br />Specific Plan, and Downtown Design Guidelines, as conditioned, and the <br />increased pazking requirement will be addressed through the existing in-lieu <br />pazking agreement consistent with City policy. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Approves Case PDR-197, the application of Larry McColm for design review <br />approval to construct an approximately 6,433-square-foot, second-floor addition to <br />the existing commercial building located at 350 Main Street, subject to the <br />conditions shown in Exhibit "B," attached hereto and made part of this case by <br />reference. <br />Section 2. Directs the project applicant and architect to attend the City's May 1, 2002 LEED <br />workshop for commercial buildings or a similaz workshop. <br />
