PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-2002-26 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR THE <br />APPLICATION OF THE LIVERMORE VALLEY JEWISH COMMUNITY CENTER <br />FOR DESIGN REVIEW AND CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT APPROVAL, AS FILED <br />UNDER CASE PDR-182/PCUP-46 <br />WHEREAS, the Livermore Valley Jewish Community Center has applied for design review <br />approval and conditional use permit approval to construct an approximately 9,735- <br />squaze-foot single-story building consisting of a 2,250-square-foot sanctuary, a <br />1,440-square-foot multipurpose room, a 530-square-foot kitchen, a 340-squaze-foot <br />library/conference room, 2,250-squaze feet of classrooms, 1,100-square feet of <br />office, and miscellaneous azeas, such as hallways, display azeas, storage azeas, and <br />bathrooms (Phase I) located at 2500 Stanley Boulevazd neaz the intersection of <br />Stanley Boulevazd and Bernal Avenue; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD-C (Planned Unit Development -Commercial) <br />District; and <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of April 24, 2002, the Planning Commission received a proposed <br />negative declazation prepazed for Case PDR-182/ PCUP-46; and <br />WHEREAS, the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of <br />the proposal; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the <br />applicable state and local guidelines governing the prepazation of Negative <br />Declarations; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that approval of the proposed project would not <br />have any significant adverse effects on the environment; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission further finds that the proposed project will have no <br />potential for adverse impacts on the site's wildlife. <br />
