Resolution No. PC-2002-23 <br />Page 2 <br />(4) the City conduct a statistically valid commuter transportation survey <br />currently planned for Fiscal Yeaz 2002/2003, the survey results be used to <br />confirm or revise the peak hour vehicle trip reduction goals, and the trip <br />reduction elements identified in the Advisory Committee report as well as <br />other opportunities to reduce peak hour vehicle trips be developed into an <br />action plan to expand the City's trip reduction program; <br />(5) the Environmental Documents be expanded to incorporate all safety <br />issues (including the pedestrian and school safety issues), and address the <br />noise and air pollution issues and the cut-through traffic impacts; <br />(6) the 2001 Baseline Traffic Report be considered; <br />(7) some type of analysis of the funding sources be prepazed; <br />(8) the City studies be conducted concurrently with the Caltrans process; <br />(9) all public verbal and written input be incorporated in the Environmental <br />Documents; <br />(10) the HOV auxiliary lanes which were part of PLANS 3C and 3D be <br />included; <br />(11) the City of Pleasanton have control of the entire process and what gets <br />studied; and <br />(12) staff shall come back to the Planning Commission with a plan as to how <br />to proceed with the studies, including a presentation on the process, and <br />what opportunities there will be for the Planning Commission's review <br />and comments. <br />Section 2.
