CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1191 <br /> <br /> APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON TO <br /> PREZONE AN APPROXIMATELY 20 ACRE SITE LOCATED EAST OF <br /> THE TERMINUS OF MISSION DRIVE, SOUTH OF BERNAL AVENUE <br /> AND APPROXIMATELY 325 FEET NORTH OF JUNIPERO STREET TO <br /> THE "A" (AGRICULTURAL), "P" (PUBLIC AND INSTITUTIONAL), <br /> AND PUD (PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT)-MEDIUM DENSITY <br /> RESIDENTIAL DISTRICTS (RZ-85-6) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton initiated a prezoning of an <br /> approximately 20 acre site located east of the terminus <br /> of Mission Drive, south of Bernal Avenue and <br /> approximately 325 feet north of Junipero Street to the <br /> "A" (Agricultural), "P" (Public and Institutional), and <br /> PUD (Planned Unit Development)-Medium Density <br /> Residential Districts; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, based on the Initial Environmental Study indicating no <br /> significant adverse effects on the environment, a <br /> negative declaration was adopted by Council on April 2, <br /> 1985; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Council received the Planning Commission's <br /> recommendation for approval of the prezoning; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on April 2, 1985; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that this prezoning is consistent <br /> with the General Plan policies of the City of <br /> Pleasanton; <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the prezoning of an approximately 20 acre <br /> site located east of the terminus of Mission Drive, <br /> south of Bernal Avenue and approximately 325 feet north <br /> of Junipero Street as follows: the 10 acre Auf der Maur <br /> property be prezoned PUD-Medium Density Residential <br /> District; the 7.72 acre school district site be prezoned <br /> "P" (Public and Institutional) District; and the 2.27 <br /> City-owned park site be prezoned "A" (Agricultural) <br /> District, all subject to the following condition: <br /> <br /> "That until a development plan is approved for the 10 <br /> acre Auf der Maur property all allowed and conditionally <br /> allowed uses of the "A" (Agricultural) District shall be <br /> permitted or conditionally permitted on that property." <br /> <br /> <br />
