Ordinance No. <br /> Page 2 <br /> Chapter 9.14 and the Municipal Regional Stormwater NPDES Permit issued by the <br /> California Regional Water Quality Control Board, San Francisco Bay Region Order R2- <br /> 2009 -0074, NPDES Permit No. CAS612008 (October 14, 2009); and <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> Section 1. Adds a new Chapter 20.26 Green Building Code to the Municipal <br /> Code as provided in the attached Exhibit 1. <br /> Section 2. Repeals Chapter 17.50 Green Building of the Municipal Code, as it <br /> is being incorporated into Chapter 20.26 Green Building Code, except for a notation to <br /> be printed in the Municipal Code as follows: <br /> Chapter 17.50 Green Building. Note: The provisions of this chapter have been <br /> incorporated into Chapter 20.26 Green Building Code. <br /> Section 3. Adopts the findings set forth in Exhibit 2 to support the adoption of <br /> Chapter 20.26 Green Building Code and the amendments to the California Green <br /> Building Standards (CALGreen) Code. <br /> Section 4. A summary of this ordinance shall be published once within <br /> fifteen (15) days after its adoption in "The Valley Times," a newspaper of general <br /> circulation published in the City of Pleasanton, and the complete ordinance shall be <br /> posted for fifteen (15) days in the City Clerk's office within fifteen (15) days after its <br /> adoption. <br /> The foregoing Ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council <br /> of the City of Pleasanton on November 16, 2010 by the following vote: <br /> Ayes: <br /> Noes: <br /> Absent: <br /> Abstain: <br /> Jennifer Hosterman, Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Karen Diaz, City Clerk <br /> APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> Jonathan Lowell, City Attorney <br />
