SUMMARY <br /> This report provides an overview of the City's existing Green Building Ordinance <br /> (Chapter 17.50 of the Municipal Code) and a discussion about harmonizing these <br /> existing requirements with the City's required adoption' of the California Green <br /> Building Standards Code (CALGreen). <br /> ' The California Green Building Standards Code will automatically go into effect state -wide on January 1, 2011. This code, <br /> like the Building, Plumbing, Fire Codes, etc., is generally intended to create uniform standards state -wide.
