Resolution No. PC-2002-13 <br />Page 12 <br />69. The project developer shall submit a construction Best Management Practice (BMP) <br />program for review and approval by the Planning Director prior to issuance of any <br />building and/or grading permits. These BMP's shall be implemented by the general <br />contractor and all subcontractors and suppliers of materials and equipment. Construction <br />site cleanup and control of construction debris shall also be addressed in this program. <br />Failure to comply with the approved construction BMP may result in the issuance of <br />correction notices, citations, or a project stop work order. <br />70. The project developer shall sweep or vacuum the pazking lot a minimum of once a month <br />and shall prevent the accumulation of litter and debris on the site. Corners and hard to <br />reach azeas shall be swept manually. If sidewalks and/or the pazking lot are pressure <br />washed, debris must be trapped and collected to prevent entry into the storm drain <br />system. No cleaning agent may be discharged into the storm drain. If any cleaning agent <br />or degreaser is used, wash water must be collected and discharged to the sanitary sewer, <br />subject to the approval of the Dublin-San Ramon Services District (DSRSD). <br />71. The project developer shall include erosion control/storm water quality measures in the <br />final grading plan which shall specifically address measures to prevent soil, dirt, and <br />debris from entering the storm drain system. Such measures may include, but aze not <br />limited to, hydroseeding, hay bales, sandbags, and siltation fences and aze subject to the <br />review and approval of the City Engineer/Director of Building Inspection. If no grading <br />plan is required, necessary erosion control/storm water quality measures shall be shown <br />on the site plan submitted for an on-site permit, subject to the review and approval of the <br />Director of Building Inspection. The project developer is responsible for ensuring that <br />the contractor is awaze of and implements such measures. <br />70. The project developer is responsible for implementing the following measures during all <br />construction phases of the subject project: <br />a. Gather all construction debris on a regulaz basis and place them in a dumpster or <br />other container which is emptied or removed on a weekly basis. When <br />appropriate, use tarps on the ground to collect fallen debris or splatters that could <br />contribute to storm water pollution. <br />b. Remove all dirt, gravel, rubbish, refuse, and green waste from the street <br />pavement, and storm drains adjoining the project site. During wet weather avoid <br />driving vehicles off paved azeas. <br />c. Broom sweep the public street pavement adjoining the project site on a daily basis. <br />Caked-on mud or dirt shall be scraped from these areas before sweeping. <br />
