PLANNiNG COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-2002-10 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDiNG APPROVAL THE APPLICATION OF THE CITY <br />OF PLEASANTON TO AMEND THE PLEASANTON MUNICIPAL CODE TO <br />ALLOW TUTORING FOR UP TO SIX STUDENTS AS A PERMITTED USE IN THE <br />NEIGHBORHOOD COMMERCIAL DISTRICT, AS FILED UNDER CASE PRZ-11 <br /> <br />the City of Pleasanton has filed an application to amend Chapter 18.44 (C <br />Commercial Districts) and Table 18.44.090 (Permitted and Conditional Uses) of <br />Title 18 (Zoning) of the Pleasanton Municipal Code to allow tutoring for up to six <br />students as a permitted used in the CN (Neighborhood Commercial) District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of January 23, 2002, the Planning Commission recommended <br /> approval of the Negative Declaration prepared for the proposal; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its duly noticed public hearing of January 23, 2002 the Planning Commission <br />considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and recommendations of the City <br />staff concerning the amendment to the Municipal Code; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that tutoring for six or fewer students would <br /> be an appropriate permitted use in the Commercial Neighborhood District. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNiNG COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />Section 1. <br /> <br />Recommends approval of Case PRZ-11, the application of the City of Pleasanton to <br />amend Chapter 18.44 (C Commercial Districts) and Table 18.44.090 (Permitted <br />and Conditional Uses) of Title 18 (Zoning) of the Pleasanton Municipal Code to <br />allow tutoring for up to six students as a permitted used in the CN (Neighborhood <br />Commercial) District, as shown on Exhibit "A," attached hereto and made part of <br />this case by reference. <br /> <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
