<br />and to encourage the applicant to complete as many items under Condition #2 as possible <br />r- without undergoing any major project re-design. <br /> <br />Commissioner Kameny moved to approve Case PUD-99-1-2M, subject to the conditions in <br />Exhibit "B," with additional conditions encouraging the applicant to: (1) utilize "Green <br />Bnilding" practices in the new buildings; (2) implement measures for structural <br />construction, without requiring any re-design, to provide for the installation of <br />roof-mounted photovoltaic systems; (3) provide telecommunications infrastructure <br />consistent with state-of-the-art methods; (4) use only natural gas-burning fireplaces on <br />USEP A-approved wood/pellet burning stoves; and (5) undertake a marketing campaign <br />targeted at persons who work within the City of Pleasanton. Review of the 2001 Growth Manae;ement Report <br /> <br />r- <br /> <br />Continued to October 24, 2001. <br /> <br />Commissioner Sullivan inquired about the status of the Growth Management Report. <br /> <br />Ms. Kline replied that the Report is currently being published electronically. She indicated that <br />the Commissioners would be receiving their copies with their packet for the October 24,2001 <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Chairperson Maas indicated that she considered growth management such an important issue and <br />would like to have a work session or an extra meeting exclusively on the Report before the <br />Commission takes formal action on the matter at a regular meeting. <br /> <br />Commissioner Kameny stated that this was all right with him. He added that the document <br />should be made available early enough to give the Commissioners sufficient time to review it <br />and prepare questions for the session. <br /> <br />Ms. Kline advised that the agenda for the October 24 meeting already has several items in <br />addition to Growth Management. <br /> <br />Commissioner Arkin commented that he believed there were no new requests for allocations this <br />year, in which case a prior work session would not be necessary.
