CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1186 <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 1029 DESIGNATING TIME <br /> AND PLACE OF REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETINGS <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Ordinance No. 1029 is repealed in its entirety. <br /> <br />Section 2: This Ordinance shall take effect immediately as an <br /> urgency ordinance pursuant to Government Code Section <br /> 36937 because an immediate adjustment in the City <br /> Council meeting schedule is necessary to maintain full <br /> attendance at City Council meetings for the month of <br /> April 1985 and thereafter. The immediate preservation <br /> of public peace, health, and safety would be endangered <br /> in the absence of this ordinance. <br /> <br />Section 3: This ordinance shall be published once within fifteen <br /> (15) days after its adoption in "The Valley Times", a <br /> newspaper of general circulation published in the City <br /> of Pleasanton. <br /> <br />INTRODUCED and ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council <br />of the City of Pleasanton on March 26, 1985. <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wood and Mayor <br /> Mercer <br />NOES: None C~T~~~~/~ <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> H R.
