THE CITY OF 20 <br /> CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT L <br /> pLEASANTONm <br /> December 7, 2010 <br /> Mayor and City Council <br /> TITLE: COMMISSION AND COMMITTEE ASSIGNMENTS AND APPOINTMENT <br /> OF VICE MAYOR FOR CALENDAR YEAR 2011 <br /> SUMMARY <br /> Each year, the Mayor reviews and revises, as necessary, Council assignments to <br /> regional authorities, boards, commissions, committees, joint powers authorities and <br /> internal Council committees. The Council is asked to ratify the Mayor's appointments <br /> for the year 2011. <br /> At the same meeting, the Council traditionally selects one of its members to serve as <br /> the Vice Mayor for the coming year. <br /> RECOMMENDATIONS <br /> 1. Review and approve the Mayor's appointments to the various City Council <br /> committees, regional and local authorities, boards, commissions and committees. <br /> 2. Approve the selection of a Vice Mayor for 2011. <br /> FISCAL IMPACT <br /> There is no fiscal impact. <br />
