RESOLUTION NO. 10-409 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> APPROVING A CONTROLLED ACCESS HIGHWAY AGREEMENT BETWEEN <br /> THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA AND THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RELATING <br /> TO THAT PORTION OF THE STATE ROUTE 84 AT VINEYARD AVENUE <br /> WHEREAS, the highway described above has been declared to be a controlled <br /> access highway by resolution of the California Transportation Commission (CTC) on <br /> December 11, 2003; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Controlled Access Highway Agreement with plan map attached <br /> hereto marked Exhibit A has been prepared by the Department of Transportation <br /> showing said construction as it affects city streets; and <br /> WHEREAS, Exhibit A does not show any changes, closures, reconstruction or <br /> limitation in pedestrian or vehicular access at Vineyard Avenue and Isabel Avenue; and <br /> WHEREAS, the final design of State Route 84 intersection at Vineyard Avenue <br /> does not show any changes, closures, reconstruction or limitation in pedestrian or <br /> vehicular access; and <br /> WHEREAS, the State of California, through its Department of Transportation, <br /> requests that the City (by resolution) approve the conditions of the Controlled Access <br /> Highway Agreement; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has considered said agreement in full and is familiar <br /> with the content thereof. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: <br /> Section 1: Approves the Controlled Access Highway Agreement; and <br /> Section 2: Authorizes the City Manager to execute the Agreement. <br /> PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton at <br /> a regular meeting held on November 16, 2010. <br /> I, Karen Diaz, City Clerk of the City of Pleasanton, California, certify that the foregoing <br /> resolution was adopted by the City Council at a regular meeting held on the 16 day of <br /> November, 2010, by the following vote: <br /> Ayes: Councilmembers Cook- Kallio, McGovern, Sullivan, Vice Mayor Thorne <br /> Noes: None <br /> Absent: Mayor Hosterman <br /> Abstain: None <br />
