THE CITY OF <br /> -- �� --' CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT 1 <br /> pL£ASANTON© <br /> December 7, 2010 <br /> Administrative Services <br /> TITLE: ADOPT A RESOLUTION DECLARING RESULTS OF THE GENERAL <br /> MUNICIPAL ELECTION HELD ON NOVEMBER 2, 2010 <br /> SUMMARY <br /> A General Municipal Election was held on November 2, 2010 for the purpose of electing <br /> a Mayor and two members of the City Council. The City consolidated its election and <br /> contracted with Alameda County Registrar of Voters to conduct the election and <br /> canvass the returns. The Registrar of Voters has completed the official canvass and <br /> has provided the City with a Statement of the Results of all votes cast for each of the <br /> candidates. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> Adopt the proposed Resolution Reciting the Fact of the General Municipal Election held <br /> on November 2, 2010, declaring the results and such other matters as provided by law. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> There is no fiscal impact associated with this action. <br /> Submitted by: Approved by: <br /> a s)--e <br /> Ka en Diaz Nelson Fialho <br /> City Clerk City Manager <br /> Attachment: <br /> 1.
