CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, ALAMEDA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 03-025 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON FOR DESIGN REVIEW, AS FILED UNDER CASE <br />PUD-02-1D <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City of Pleasanton has applied for design review approval for a new fire station <br />with apparatus bays and living quarters for the Livermore-Pleasanton Fire <br />Department to be located on a 3.25-acre site in the Bemal Property Development <br />at 1600 Oak Vista Way; and <br /> <br />zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development) District; and <br /> <br />environmental review for the proposed project was undertaken with the Final <br />Environmental Impact Report (FEIR) certified by the City Council on August 29, <br />2000 in conformance with the standards of the California Environmental Quality <br />Act (CEQA); and <br /> <br />them are no substantial changes to the project or to the circumstances under which <br />the project is undertaken that involve new significant environmental effects or that <br />substantially increase the severity of previously identified effects, and there is no <br />new information of substantial importance not known at the time the EIR was <br />certified regarding the project or its effects, mitigation measures, or alternatives; <br />therefore, no additional environmental documentation was prepared for this <br />application; and <br /> <br />the City Council received the Planning Commission's recommendations for <br />approval of the design review; and <br /> <br />a duly noticed public hearing was held before the City Council on April I, 2003, at <br />which time all pertinent testimony and documents were reviewed; and <br /> <br />the City Council determined that the proposed building is appropriate for the site; <br />and <br /> <br />the City Council has reviewed and considered the staff report, and all oral and <br />written testimony. <br /> <br /> <br />
