CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 03-025 RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON FOR DESIGN REVIEW, AS FILED UNDER CASE PUD-02-1D WHEREAS, WHEREAS, WHEREAS, WHEREAS, WHEREAS, WHEREAS, WHEREAS, WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has applied for design review approval for a new fire station with apparatus bays and living quarters for the Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department to be located on a 3.25-acre site in the Bemal Property Development at 1600 Oak Vista Way; and zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development) District; and environmental review for the proposed project was undertaken with the Final Environmental Impact Report (FEIR) certified by the City Council on August 29, 2000 in conformance with the standards of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA); and them are no substantial changes to the project or to the circumstances under which the project is undertaken that involve new significant environmental effects or that substantially increase the severity of previously identified effects, and there is no new information of substantial importance not known at the time the EIR was certified regarding the project or its effects, mitigation measures, or alternatives; therefore, no additional environmental documentation was prepared for this application; and the City Council received the Planning Commission's recommendations for approval of the design review; and a duly noticed public hearing was held before the City Council on April I, 2003, at which time all pertinent testimony and documents were reviewed; and the City Council determined that the proposed building is appropriate for the site; and the City Council has reviewed and considered the staff report, and all oral and written testimony.
