Actions of the Planning Commission, November 10, 2010 <br /> Commissioners Present: Phil Blank, Kathy Narum, Greg O'Connor, Arne Olson, and <br /> Jerry Pentin. <br /> Commissioners Absent: Jennifer Pearce and Jerry Pentin. <br /> PCUP -280, Craig Ristow <br /> (1) Determination on whether a bicycle motocross (BMX) ramp shall be considered to <br /> be similar to and classified the same as a "skateboard ramp" as listed in the Pleasanton <br /> Municipal Code; and (2) Application for a Conditional Use Permit to construct a BMX <br /> ramp in the rear yard of the residence located at 286 Kottinger Drive. Zoning for the <br /> property is R -1 -6,500 (Single - Family Residential) District. <br /> Action recommended: Approval. <br /> Action taken: Approved per staff. <br /> Vote: 5 -0. <br /> PRZ -58, City of Pleasanton, Hacienda Business Park Rezoninqs <br /> Application to rezone three sites in Hacienda Business Park to require residential <br /> development plans meet certain core standards related to density, affordability and unit <br /> mix, consistent with the settlement agreement approved by the City Council on <br /> August 17, 2010 in the case of Urban Habitat v. City of Pleasanton. The sites are: <br /> (1) The W.P. Carey site at the southeast corner of Owens Drive and Willow Road <br /> (Assessor's Parcel No. 941 - 2778 - 013 -00 and part of APN 941 - 2778 - 012 -00); (2) The <br /> BRE site at the north corner of Hacienda Drive and Gibraltar Drive <br /> (APN 941 - 2778 - 011 -00); and (3) The Roche Molecular Systems site, south of Gibraltar <br /> Drive between Willow Road and Hacienda Drive (a portion of APN 941 - 2761 - 003 -00). <br /> Zoning for the properties is PUD -MU (Planned Unit Development — Mixed Use) District. <br /> Action recommended: Recommend approval. <br /> Action taken: Recommended approval per staff. <br /> Vote: 5 -0. <br /> PAP -148, Mark Lobaugh /Complete Wireless Consulting Inc. <br /> Appeal of the Zoning Administrator's denial of design review application for the <br /> construction of a 65 -foot tall faux pine tree to be operated as a wireless facility for <br /> Verizon Wireless at 6890 Koll Center Parkway. Zoning for the property is PUD -I /C -O <br /> (Planned Unit Development — Industrial /Commercial- Office) District. <br /> This item was continued to the December 8, 2010 meeting. <br /> PCUP -276, Tina Ardeshiri, Simeon Properties <br /> Application for a Conditional Use Permit to operate a 24 -hour convenience store <br /> (7- Eleven) at 3506 Old Santa Rita Road.
