CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1177 <br /> <br /> APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF CASTLEWOOD PROPERTIES, INC. <br /> TO PREZONE APPROXIMATELY 8.8 ACRES TO PUD-HIGH DENSITY <br /> RESIDENTIAL AND "A" (AGRICULTURAL) AND APPROVING <br /> DEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR AN 80 UNIT MULTI-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL <br /> COMPLEX AND PROPOSED CITY PARK ON THE SITE LOCATED ON <br /> THE EAST SIDE OF BERNAL AVENUE BETWEEN TAWNY DRIVE AND <br /> VINEYARD AVENUE (PUD-84-13) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Castlewood Properties, Inc. has applied to prezone an <br /> approximately 8.8 acre site to PUD (Planned Unit <br /> Development)-High Density Residential and "A" <br /> (Agricultural) Districts and for development plan <br /> approval for an 84-unit multi-family residential complex <br /> and proposed City park on the site located on the east <br /> side of Bernal Avenue between Tawny Drive and Vineyard <br /> Avenue; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, based on the Initial Environmental Study indicating no <br /> significant adverse effects on the environment, a <br /> negative declaration was adopted by Council on <br /> January 22, 1985; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Council received the Planning Commission's <br /> recommendation for approval of the prezoning and <br /> development plan approval; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on January 22, <br /> 1985; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that this prezoning and <br /> development plan approval is consistent with the General <br /> Plan policies of the City of Pleasanton; <br /> <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br /> FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: Approves the prezoning of an approximately 8.8 acre <br /> site located on the east side of Bernal Avenue between <br /> Tawny Drive and Vineyard Avenue to the PUD (Planned Unit <br /> Development)-High Density Residential and "A" <br /> (Agricultural) District. <br /> <br /> Section 2: The Zoning Map of the City of Pleasanton dated <br /> April 18, 1960, on file with the City Clerk, designating <br /> and dividing the City into zoning districts is hereby <br /> amended by Zoning Unit Map #300, attached hereto as <br /> Exhibit A dated January 22, 1985, and incorporated <br /> herein by reference. <br /> <br /> <br />
