If spilled, these <br /> substances could pose a risk to the environment and to human health. In the <br /> event of a spill, the Livermore - Pleasanton Fire Department is responsible for <br /> responding to non - emergency hazardous materials reports. The use, handling, <br /> storage, and transport of hazardous materials are highly regulated by the Federal <br /> Occupational Safety and Health Administration (Fed /OSHA), the California <br /> Occupational Safety and Health Administration (Cal /OSHA), and by the Federal <br /> Department of Transportation (DOT). The City has in place an Emergency <br /> Response Plan to meet the needs should a spill or a hazardous event take place. <br /> Routine transport, use and disposal of hazardous materials are already regulated <br /> by federal, state and local regulations. This project will require disclosure of any <br /> hazardous materials, the amounts anticipated and where those materials will be <br /> stored or used. Therefore, this would be a less than - significant - impact. <br /> c) The proposed project does not involve the transportation, storage, and dispensing <br /> of hazardous materials, and would not pose a risk to any existing or proposed <br /> schools proximate to this project. Therefore, this would be considered no impact. <br /> d) The site is not included on the list of hazardous materials sites compiled pursuant <br /> to Government Code 65962.5 (Cortese List).
