THE CITY OF <br /> ' -- "' CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT 09 <br /> pLE ASANTON® <br /> October 19, 2010 <br /> Mayor and City Council <br /> TITLE: COMMISSION AND COMMITTEE ASSIGNMENTS <br /> SUMMARY <br /> In accordance with commission appointment policies, in the spring and fall the City <br /> solicits applications from interested Pleasanton residents to serve on the City's standing <br /> commissions and committees, as well as on regional boards and commissions to which <br /> the City appoints representatives. <br /> This fall, the City solicited applications to fill vacancies for terms expiring on September <br /> 30, 2010. Applications were received and interviews held. The Mayor's appointments <br /> are listed on the following page. To ensure continuity in service to the extent possible, <br /> the Mayor has included in this report her reappointments of commissioners whose <br /> terms expire on September 30, 2010 and who are eligible and interested in being <br /> reappointed. Also included are those commissioners who, as a result of other <br /> openings, are changing status from alternates to regular members. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> The Council is asked to ratify the Mayor's appointments to various City commissions <br /> and committees as listed on the attached table. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> There is no fiscal impact. <br /> Approvld by: <br /> Nelson Fialho <br /> City Manager <br />
