• ATTACHMENT 4 CONTRACT FOR CONSULTANT SERVICES FOR SANITARY PUMP STATION S -6 REPLACEMENT THIS AGREEMENT is made and entered into this 7th day of September, 2010, by and between the CITY OF PLEASANTON, a municipal corporation ( "City "), and ENGEO Incorporated whose address is 2010 Crow Canyon Place, Suite 250, San Ramon, CA 94583 and telephone number is (925) 866 -9000, ( "Consultant "). WITNESSETH: A. Consultant is qualified to provide, and experienced in providing construction observation and materials testing related services and has offered its services for the purposes specified in this Agreement. B. In the judgment of the City, it is necessary and advisable to employ the services of Consultant for the purposes provided herein. NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants, agreements and conditions contained herein, City and Consultant agree as follows: 1. Consultant's Services. Consultant shall diligently perform the services and furnish the construction observation and materials testing and related materials as hereinafter set forth: a. Consultant shall perform all work described in Exhibit A, Scope of Work, attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference. 2. City Services. In order to assist Consultant in this work, City shall provide, if necessary, copy of plans and specifications, necessary direction and report checking within a reasonable time. 3. Staff. The Project Manager for Consultant shall be James "Chip" Moore, who may not be replaced without written consent of City. 4. Sufficiency of Consultant's Work. All construction observations and material testing services and reporting, prepared for City shall be adequate and sufficient to meet the purposes for which they are prepared. 5. Ownership of Work. All reports, drawings, plans, maps, designs, work data, and all other documents completed or partially completed by Consultant in the performance of this Agreement shall become the property of City.
