CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1176 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE INCREASING COUNCILMEMBERS SALARIES TO THE <br /> STATUTORY LIMIT OF $400.00 PER MONTH <br /> <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br /> FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: Pursuant to Section 36516 of the Government Code, and <br /> based on the population of the City of Pleasanton on the <br /> date this ordinance becomes effective, the salary of <br /> each member of the City Council is hereby increased to <br /> $400.00 per month effective after the November 1986 <br /> election and the new Council has been seated. <br /> <br /> Section 2: This ordinance shall be published once within fifteen <br /> (15) days after its adoption in "The Valley Times" a <br /> newspaper of general circulation published in the City <br /> of Pleasanton. <br /> <br /> Section 3: This ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) days <br /> after the date of its final passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> INTRODUCED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City <br /> of Pleasanton on January 7, 1985. <br /> <br />ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Pleasanton on January 22, 1985 by the following vote: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Butler, Mohr and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: Councilmember Wood <br />ABSENT: None ~E <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> TH R.
