CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1174 <br /> <br /> APPROVING APPLICATION OF PONDEROSA HOMES FOR PUD ZONING <br /> AND DEVELOPMENT PLAN APPROVAL FOR A 250 UNIT <br /> SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL PROJECT ON APPROXIMATELY 51 <br /> ACRES ON THE WEST SIDE OF CAMINO SEGURA BETWEEN THE <br /> RESIDENCES ON THE NORTH SIDE OF HANSEN DRIVE AND THE <br /> PLEASANTON CANAL (PUD-84-17) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Ponderosa Homes applied for PUD (Planned Unit <br /> Development) zoning and development plan approval for <br /> construction of a 259 unit single-family residential <br /> project on an approximately 51 acre site located on the <br /> west side of Camino Segura, between the residences on <br /> the north side of Hansen Drive and the Pleasanton Canal; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, based on the Initial Environmental Study a negative <br /> declaration was adopted by Council on January 7, 1985; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission denied the application for this <br /> project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, within the time specified by the Ordinance Code of the <br /> City of Pleasanton, Ponderosa Homes submitted an appeal <br /> to the City Clerk of the City of Pleasanton and modified <br /> the application reducing the number of units to 250; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on January 7, <br /> 1985 at which time the City Council upheld the appeal <br /> and approved the project as modified; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that this development plan and <br /> rezoning is consistent with the General Plan policies of <br /> the City of Pleasanton; <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the rezoning of an approximately 51 acre <br /> site located on the west side of Camino Segura, between <br /> the residences on the north side of Hansen Drive and the <br /> Pleasanton Canal from "R-1-6500 (Single-Family <br /> Residential)" and "P" (Public and Institutional) to the <br /> "PUD (Planned Unit Development)-Medium Density <br /> Residential" District. <br /> <br />Section 2: Approves the development plan for a 250-unit <br /> single-family residential project on an approximately 51 <br /> acre site located on the west side of Camino Segura, <br /> <br /> <br />
