CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1170 <br /> <br /> APPROVING THE REZONING OF AppROXIMATELY 10,000 SQ- FT. <br /> LOCATED AT 1734 SANTA RITA ROAD FROM "R-1-6500 <br /> (SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL") TO THE "PUD (PLANNED UNIT <br /> DEVELOpMENT)-COMMERCIAL AND OFFICES DISTRICT" (RZ-84-11) <br />WHEREAS, the City Council applied to have an approximately 10,000 <br /> sq. ft. site located at 1734 Santa Rita Road rezoned <br /> from the ,,R-1-6500" (Single-familY Residential) District <br /> to the "PUD (Planned Unit Development)-Commercial and <br /> Offices District"; and <br />WHEREAS, a negative declaration was prepared for the General Plan <br /> amendment for the subject property and this rezoning is <br /> in conformance with the General Plan amendment, <br /> therefore, no environmental document is necessary for <br /> this action; and <br /> WHEREAS, Council received the Planning Commission's <br /> recommendation for approval of the rezoning; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on November 13, <br /> 1984; and <br /> WHEREAS the City Council finds that this rezoning is consistent <br /> with the General Plan policies of the City of <br /> pleasanton; <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF pLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br /> FOLLOWS: <br /> Section 1: Approves the rezoning of an approximately 10,000 sq. <br /> ft. site located at 1734 Santa Rita Road from the <br /> ,,R-1-6500" (Single-familY Residential) District to the <br /> "PUD (planned Unit Development)-Commercial and Offices" <br /> District, and that the allowed and conditionallY allowed <br /> uses in that district be as follows: <br /> <br /> Allowed Uses <br /> Offices, including, but not limited to business, <br /> professional and administrative offices. <br /> <br /> Single family dwellings- <br /> <br /> ConditionallY Allowed Uses <br /> <br /> 1. Antique Stores <br /> 2. Art Galleries and Artist's Supply Store <br /> 3. Book stores <br /> 4. Florists <br /> 5. Gift Shops <br /> 6. Picture Framing Shops <br /> 7. Plant Shops <br /> 8. private Museums <br /> <br /> <br />
