CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA ORDINANCE NO. 1166 APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON TO PREZONE AN APPROXIMATELY 276 ACRE SITE ON THE WEST SIDE OF FOOTHILL ROAD TO THE PUD-LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL AND OPEN SPACE (PUBLIC HEALTH AND SAFETY) DISTRICT WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton initiated a prezoning of an approximately 276 acre site on the west side of Foothill Road to the PUD-Low Density Residential and Open Space (Public Health and Safety) District; and WHEREAS, based on the Initial Environmental Study indicating no significant adverse effects on the environment, a negative declaration was adopted by Council on October 30, 1984; and WHEREAS, Council received the Planning Commission's recommendation for approval of the prezoning; and WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held n October 30, 1984; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that this prezoning is consistent with the General Plan policies of the City of Pleasanton; THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Approves the prezoning of an approximately 276 acre site on the west side of Foothill Road, which land is involved in Annexation No. 110, to the PUD-Low Density Residential and Open Space (Public Health and Safety) District. Section 2: The Zoning Map of the City of Pleasanton dated April 18, 1960, on file with the City Clerk, designating and dividing the City into zoning districts is hereby amended by Zoning Unit Map #295, attached hereto as Exhibit A dated October 30, 1984, and incorporated herein by reference. Section 2: This ordinance shall be published once within fifteen (15) days after its adoption in "The Valley Times" a newspaper of general circulation published in the City of Pleasanton. Section 3: This ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) days after the date of its final passage and adoption.
