CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1163 <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE 2, CHAPTER 6 (SPEED ZONES), <br /> TITLE V (VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC, STREETS AND HIGHWAYS) OF <br /> THE ORDINANCE CODE OF THE CITY OF pLEASANTON SETTING A <br /> SPEED LIMIT ON WEST LAS POSITAS FROM HOPYARD ROAD TO <br /> FOOTHILL ROAD <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1: Section 5-6.01 of Article 1 (Increase in State Speed <br /> Limit in Certain Zones) is amended by adding the <br /> following subsection: <br /> <br /> "w-2 West Las Positas Boulevard- On West Las Positas <br /> Boulevard from Hopyard Road to Dorman Road, the <br /> speed limit shall be 35 mph." <br /> <br />Section 2: Section 5-6.05 of Article 2 (Decrease in State Speed <br /> Limit in Certain Zones) is amended by changing <br /> subsection w-1 as follows: <br /> <br /> "w-1 West Las Positas Boulevard. On West Las Positas <br /> Boulevard from Foothill Road to Muirwood Drive the <br /> speed limit shall be 35 miles per hour." <br /> Section 3: This ordinance shall be published once within fifteen <br /> (15) days after its adoption in "The Valley Times," a <br /> newspaper of general circulation published in the City <br /> of Pleasanton- <br /> Section 4: This ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) days <br /> after the date of its final passage and adoption. <br /> INTRODUCED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City <br /> of Pleasanton on October 30, 1984. <br /> ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br /> pleasanton on November 13, 1984 by the following vote: <br /> <br /> <br />
