CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF pLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1160 <br /> <br /> APPROVAL OF THE APPLICATION OF pRUDENTIAL INSURANCE <br /> COMPANY FOR PUD REZONING AND DEVELOPMENT PLAN AND SIGN <br /> pROGRAM FOR A SINGLE-STORY, AppROXIMATELY 3,350 SQ. FT. <br /> COMMERCIAL STRUCTURE AND RELATED FACILITIES ON THE 0.647 <br /> ACRE SITE LOCATED AT THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF THE <br /> INTERSECTION OF OWENS COURT AND OWENS DRIVE <br />WHEREAS, prudential Insurance Company has applied for rezoning <br /> and development plan approval for a single-storY, <br /> approximately 3,350 sq. ft. commercial structure and <br /> related facilities on the 0.647 acre site located at the <br /> northwest corner of the intersection of Owens Court and <br /> Owens Drive; and <br />WHEREAS, a negative declaration was prepared in conjunction with <br /> the General Plan amendment on the subject property and <br /> the development of the site was contained within the <br /> scope of that negative declaration, therefore, no <br /> further environmental document needs to be considered at <br /> this time; and <br /> WHEREAS, Council received the planning Commission's <br /> recommendation for approval of the development plan and <br /> rezoning; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on October 16, <br /> 1984; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds that this development plan and <br /> rezoning is consistent with the General Plan policies of <br /> the City of pleasanton; <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF pLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br /> FOLLOWS: <br /> Section 1: Approves the rezoning of an approximately 0,647 acre <br /> site located at the northwest corner of the intersection <br /> of Owens Court and Owens Drive to the pUD-Commercial <br /> District and the Zoning Map of the City of pleasanton <br /> dated April 18, 1960, on file with the City Clerk, <br /> designating and dividing the City into zoning districts <br /> is hereby amended by Zoning Unit Map #293, attached <br /> hereto as Exhibit "B" dated October 16, 1984, and <br /> incorporated herein by reference- <br /> Section 2: Approves the development plan for a single-storY, <br /> approximately 3,350 sq. ft. commercial structure and <br /> related facilities on the 0,647 acre site located at the <br /> northwest corner of the intersection of Owens Court and <br /> <br /> <br />
