Ratify change to the Pleasanton Firehouse Arts Center construction contract with <br /> W.A. Thomas Company, Inc. in the amount of $1,540,909 to construct the Arts <br /> Center parking lot, plaza and garden areas. <br /> 3. Authorize the transfer of $1,852,120 from the current Downtown Parking- Corridor <br /> project (CIP No. 018044) and the transfer of $614,962 of the remaining contingency <br /> from the Firehouse Arts Center project (CIP No. 038011) to a new Capital <br /> Improvement Program project, (CIP No. 098035) to meet projected project costs <br /> (approximately $2,467,082). <br /> 4. Ratify the plans and specifications for the Parking Lot, Plaza and Garden Areas <br /> within the Transportation Corridor in support of the Firehouse Arts Center. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> The total estimated cost to design and construct the parking lot, plaza and garden area <br /> for the Transportation Corridor project is approximately $2,467,082. Staff recommends <br /> that a portion ($614,962) of this cost be funded from the contingency for the current <br /> Firehouse Arts Center budget, CIP No. 038011, and the remaining funding ($1,852,120) <br /> be allocated from the Downtown Parking- Corridor, CIP No. 018044, which currently has <br /> a fund balance of approximately $4,001,883. <br /> Page 2 of 5 <br />
