Ratify change to the Pleasanton Firehouse Arts Center construction contract with W.A. Thomas Company, Inc. in the amount of $1,540,909 to construct the Arts Center parking lot, plaza and garden areas. 3. Authorize the transfer of $1,852,120 from the current Downtown Parking- Corridor project (CIP No. 018044) and the transfer of $614,962 of the remaining contingency from the Firehouse Arts Center project (CIP No. 038011) to a new Capital Improvement Program project, (CIP No. 098035) to meet projected project costs (approximately $2,467,082). 4. Ratify the plans and specifications for the Parking Lot, Plaza and Garden Areas within the Transportation Corridor in support of the Firehouse Arts Center. FINANCIAL STATEMENT The total estimated cost to design and construct the parking lot, plaza and garden area for the Transportation Corridor project is approximately $2,467,082. Staff recommends that a portion ($614,962) of this cost be funded from the contingency for the current Firehouse Arts Center budget, CIP No. 038011, and the remaining funding ($1,852,120) be allocated from the Downtown Parking- Corridor, CIP No. 018044, which currently has a fund balance of approximately $4,001,883.
