The monitoring events are intended to satisfy the <br /> requirements of the Plan of Control. The monitoring events will include: <br /> • A geologic reconnaissance of the site slopes for indications of erosion or slope failure. <br /> • An inspection of concrete -lined surface ditches. <br /> • A reconnaissance of creek banks and other drainage corridors for indications of slope instability <br /> that could impact site improvements. <br /> • Observation of known, readily accessible subdrain outlets installed during mass grading. <br /> • Observation of selected sidewalks, and curb and gutter alignments. <br /> • Observation of the condition of roadways within open space and common areas. <br /> We propose to conduct two regularly scheduled monitoring events and submit a monitoring <br /> report for each event. As requested, the term of this proposal covers the 5 - year period from 2010 <br /> through 2014. We propose to perform the services outlined above for a fee of $2,100 per event <br /> for the first two years (2010 and 2011) and $2,200 per event for remaining three years (2012, <br /> 2013 and 2014). For the 5 -year period, the fee would be $21,600. Note that ENGEO has been <br /> performing site reconnaissance at Moller Ranch since 1999, and the fees for our services have <br /> been fixed since 2005. <br /> As requested, we will conduct additional inspection events on an as- needed basis as defined by <br /> the Plan of Control (e.g., whenever rainfall exceeds 2 inches in a 24 -hour period as reported by <br /> local monitoring stations) for a fixed fee of $1,800 per event, including the summary report.
