CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1154 <br /> <br /> AMENDMENT TO TITLE II OF THE ORDINANCE CODE OF THE CITY <br /> OF PLEASANTON ADDING CHAPTER 17 (TRANSPORTATION SYSTEMS <br /> MANAGEMENT) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, due to the increased development in the City of Pleasan- <br /> ton, it has become necessary to initiate regulation of <br /> commuter traffic in order to avoid potential problems in <br /> the future; <br /> <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br /> FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: Title II of the Ordinance Code of the City of <br /> Pleasanton is hereby amended by adding Chapter 17 <br /> (Transportation Systems Management) as shown on Exhibit <br /> A, attached hereto and incorporated herein by this <br /> reference. <br /> <br /> Section 2: Severability. If any section, subsection, sentence, <br /> clause, or phrase of this ordinance is for any reason <br /> held to be invalid or unconstitutional by the decision <br /> of any court of competent jurisdiction, such decision <br /> shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions <br /> of the ordinance. The City Council of the City of <br /> Pleasanton hereby declares that it would have passed <br /> this ordinance and each section, subsection, sentence, <br /> clause and phrase thereof, irrespective of the fact that <br /> any one or more other sections, subsections, sentences, <br /> clauses or phrases be declared invalid or <br /> unconstitutional. <br /> <br />Section 3: Publication. This ordinance shall be published once <br /> within fifteen (15) days after its adoption in "The Val- <br /> ley Times," a newspaper of general circulation published <br /> in the City of Pleasanton. <br /> <br />Section 4: Effective Date: This ordinan6e shall be effective <br /> thirty (30) days after the date of its final passage and <br /> adoption. <br /> <br />INTRODUCED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City <br />of Pleasanton on September 11, 1984. <br /> <br /> <br />
