CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA ORDINANCE NO. 1154 AMENDMENT TO TITLE II OF THE ORDINANCE CODE OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ADDING CHAPTER 17 (TRANSPORTATION SYSTEMS MANAGEMENT) WHEREAS, due to the increased development in the City of Pleasan- ton, it has become necessary to initiate regulation of commuter traffic in order to avoid potential problems in the future; THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Title II of the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton is hereby amended by adding Chapter 17 (Transportation Systems Management) as shown on Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference. Section 2: Severability. If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, or phrase of this ordinance is for any reason held to be invalid or unconstitutional by the decision of any court of competent jurisdiction, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of the ordinance. The City Council of the City of Pleasanton hereby declares that it would have passed this ordinance and each section, subsection, sentence, clause and phrase thereof, irrespective of the fact that any one or more other sections, subsections, sentences, clauses or phrases be declared invalid or unconstitutional. Section 3: Publication. This ordinance shall be published once within fifteen (15) days after its adoption in "The Val- ley Times," a newspaper of general circulation published in the City of Pleasanton. Section 4: Effective Date: This ordinan6e shall be effective thirty (30) days after the date of its final passage and adoption.
