CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br /> August 17, 2010 <br /> Parks and Community Services <br /> TITLE: RATIFICATION OF THE APPROVAL TO AWARD CONTRACT TO IMAGE <br /> X FOR PRINTING SERVICES ASSOCIATED WITH THE PARKS AND <br /> COMMUNITY SERVICES DEPARTMENT'S ACTIVITIES GUIDE <br /> SUMMARY <br /> The Parks and Community Services Department produces an Activities Guide of its <br /> various programs and activities three (3) times per year. With the expiration of the <br /> current printing contract, staff recently conducted a Request for Proposals (RFP) <br /> process. After formal interviews with four (4) perspective firms and reference checks, <br /> staff determined that Image X of Pleasanton is the most responsive company to provide <br /> Activities Guide printing services. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> That the City Council ratify the contract with Image X, to provide printing services for the <br /> Parks and Community Services Department's Activities Guide. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> Costs among the four (4) proposals ranged from $35,287 to $42,512 annually. The cost <br /> for the one -year contract with Image X is $42,512. Funding for this project is available <br /> and budgeted in the FY 2010/11 Operating Budget. <br />
