Sections: <br />1.12.010 <br />1.12.020 <br />1.12.030 <br />nors <br />Chapter 1.12 <br />GENERAL PENALTY <br />Violation-Penalty. <br />Infractions. <br />Continuing violation. <br />1.12.010 Violation - Penalty. <br />Except as otherwise provided in Chapters 1.24 and <br />1.28 of this title, any person who violates any of the <br />provisions of this code or who fails to comply with any <br />regulatory requirements of this code is guilty of a mis- <br />demeanor, and upon conviction is punishable by a fine <br />not exceeding $1,000.00 or by imprisonment in the <br />county jail for a period not exceeding six months, or by <br />both. Notwithstanding Section 1.12.010 of this <br />chapter, any person who violates a provision of this code <br />designated in this chapter shall be guilty of an infraction, <br />punishable by: <br />1. A fine not exceeding $100.00 for the first <br />violation; <br />2. A fine not exceeding $200.00 for a second <br />violation of the same ordinance within one year; <br />3. A fine not exceeding $500.00 for the third <br />violation of the same ordinance within one year. <br />Any person who violates the same ordinance more <br />than three times in any 12 -month period shall be guilty <br />of a misdemeanor. <br />l3. Violations of the following sections are des- <br />ignated punishable as infractions: <br />I. Chapter 6.04, amusement devices. <br />2. Chapter 6.30, shopping cart regulations. <br />3. Chapter 6.40, taxicabs. <br />4. Chapter 6.44, teenage dances. <br />5. Title 7, animals. <br />6. Chapter 9.04, noise regulations. <br />7. Chapter 9.08, litter. <br />8. Chapter 9.20, garbage. <br />9. Chapter 10.08, offenses by or against mi- <br />10. Chapter 10.12, weapons. <br />11. Chapter 10.20, alcohol regulations. <br />12.
