CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIF0INIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1148 <br /> <br /> AMENDING §2-10.25, ARTICLE 21, CHAPTER 2, TITLE <br /> II OF THE ORDINANCE CODE OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> EXTENDING LENGTH OF OUTDOOR SALES TO FIVE DAYS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Council received a request to allow outdoor sales <br /> to last five (5) days instead of the current limit <br /> of three (3) days; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on August 14, <br /> 1984; <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Section 2-10.25(b), Article 21, Chapter 2, Title <br /> II of the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton <br /> is amended to read as follows: <br /> <br /> "b. Temporary outdoor sales shall not last longer <br /> than five days." <br /> <br />Section 2: This ordinance shall be published once within fifteen <br /> (15) days after its adoption in "The Valley Times," <br /> a newspaper of general circulation published in the <br /> City of Pleasanton. <br /> <br />Section 3: This ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) <br /> days after the date of its final passage and adoption. <br /> <br />INTRODUCED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City <br />of Pleasanton on August 14, 1984. <br /> <br />ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Pleasanton on August 28, 1984 by the following vote: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Mohr, Wood and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmembers Brandes and Byt~ <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> ames R.
