RESOLUTION NO. 10 -383 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> DISBANDING THE TRAILS AD HOC COMMITTEE (TAC) AND THE BICYCLE AND <br /> ADVISORY COMMITTEE (BPAC) <br /> WHEREAS, the Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee was established on <br /> September 4, 2007 to develop a city -wide bicycle master plan; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Committee's work is complete with the approval by the City Council of <br /> the city -wide bicycle master plan at the Council's February 16, 2010 meeting; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Trails Ad Hoc Committee was established on September 16, 2003 to <br /> recommend and prioritize trail improvement projects and related matters. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: <br /> SECTION 1: That is expresses appreciation to the members of both the Trails Ad Hoc <br /> and the Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committees for their work, and disbands both of these <br /> committees in light of the creation of a new combined Committee. <br /> SECTION 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and <br /> adoption. <br /> PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton at <br /> a regular meeting held on June 1, 2010. <br /> I, Karen Diaz, City Clerk of the City of Pleasanton, California, certify that the foregoing <br /> resolution was adopted by the City Council at a regular meeting held on 1 day of June, 2010 by <br /> the following vote: <br /> Ayes: Councilmembers Cook- Kallio, McGovern, Sullivan, Thorne, Mayor Hosterman <br /> Noes: None <br /> Absent: None <br /> Abstain: None <br /> nCCtI ,/ <br /> are' Diaz, City Clerk <br /> APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> . an P.
