Amy Blaschka gave a brief PowerPoint presentation, said in order not to disrupt and interrupt <br /> their funding source; they are in year 4 of a 5 year agreement and want to continue with the <br /> partnership. The greatest amount of money will go toward sales and marketing efforts, some for <br /> operations and administration, and 5% of the TTBID dollars will go to reserves and renewal <br /> costs, and 1% will go to collection fees. She discussed events that lead to additional room <br /> nights and future generating pending business, public relations, advertising highlights, and <br /> international coverage. Ms. Blaschka also introduced Kevin Goebel, General Manager, <br /> Pleasanton Hilton, who was in attendance. <br /> MOTION: It was m/s by Cook- Kallio/Thorne to introduce Ordinance No. 2004 to renew the Tri- <br /> Valley Tourism Business Improvement District. Motion passed by the following vote: <br /> Ayes: Councilmembers Cook - Kallio, McGovern, Sullivan, Thorne, Mayor Hosterman <br /> Noes: None <br /> Absent: None <br /> MATTERS INITIATED BY COUNCIL - None <br /> COUNCIL REPORTS - None <br /> ADJOURNMENT <br /> There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 11:07 p.m., with a tribute to our <br /> nation's men and women serving in the military.
