MINUTES CITY OF PLEASANTON REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING May 18, 2010 CALL TO ORDER Mayor Hosterman called the regular meeting to order at the hour of 7:00 p.m. Councilmember Sullivan led the Pledge of Allegiance and provided the introductory remarks. ROLL CALL Present: Councilmembers Cook- Kallio, McGovern, Sullivan, Thorne, Mayor Hosterman Absent: None CLOSED SESSION REPORT The City Attorney reported that the Council discussed three matters in Closed Session and there was no reportable action on the three items. Additionally, the City Council met in Closed Session on May 17, 2010 regarding the Urban Habitat litigation and provided direction to staff regarding potential terms of settlement. AGENDA AMENDMENTS - None CONSENT CALENDAR Administrative Services 1. Approved regular meeting minutes of April 6, 2010 and special meeting minutes of April 20, 2010 and May 4, 2010 2. Adopted Resolution No. 10 -360 approving an Accumulation Program for Part-Time and Limited Service Employees (APPLE) as an Alternative Retirement Plan City Manager 3. Approve the Five -Year Consolidated Plan (2010 -14) and the Annual Action Plan (2010 -11) for the Use of Federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Funds Community Development 4. Accepted actions of the Zoning Administrator and Planning Commission 5. Reviewed and approved Engineer's Reports, Budgets and adopted Resolution No. 10- 361 pertaining to District No. 1984 -1 (Ponderosa -Del Prado); Resolution No. 10 -362 pertaining to District No. 1993 -1 (Windsor); Resolution No. 10 -363 pertaining to District No. 1993 -2; (Bonde Ranch); Resolution No. 10 -364 pertaining to District No. 1994 -1 (Oak Tree Farm) and Resolution No. 10 -365 pertaining to District No. 1995 -1 (Moller Ranch) declaring the intention to order improvements for said District for fiscal year 2010 -11; declaring the intention to levy and collect assessments; and setting June 15, 2010 as the public hearing date for said Districts
