EXHIBIT "A" <br /> LEGAL DESCRIPTION <br /> REAL PROPERTY lying partly in the City of Pleasanton and partly in the Unincorporated Area, <br /> County of Alameda, State of California, described as follows: <br /> PARCEL ONE: <br /> All those portions of Plots 44, 46, 47, 48 and 49 of the Bernal portion of the Rancho El Valle De San <br /> Jose which lie within the lines of the parcel of land described as Parcel 69 in the Deed from Spring <br /> Valley Water Company to City and County of San Francisco, dated March 3, 1930, recorded March <br /> 3, 1930, in Book 2350, Page 1, Official Records of Alameda County, said Parcel 69 being therein <br /> described as follows: <br /> "Commencing at an iron monument set in the ground in the center of County Road Number 2000 at <br /> the Southeast corner of a tract of 91.204 acres conveyed by the Suburban Company to the Spring <br /> Valley Water Works by Deed dated November 1, 1902, and recorded December 20, 1902, in Book <br /> 881 of Deeds at Page 172, Alameda County Records; and running thence along the Northerly <br /> boundary line of 137.50 acre tract conveyed by the Suburban Company to Spring Valley Water Works <br /> by the last hereinbefore mentioned deed, and along the center line of said County Road No. 2000 and <br /> crossing the existing right of way of the Western Pacific Railway Company, East 41.50 chains, more <br /> or less, to a point 5.43 chains due West of the Northeast comer of Plot No. 43 of the Bernal portion <br /> of the Rancho El Valle De San Jose; thence along the Westerly boundary of lands formerly known <br /> and described in said Deed as the "Augustin Bernal Home Place" and the "Conception Soto 97.175 <br /> Acre Tract," Southwesterly 600 feet; thence South 65° 40' East 4.45 chains, more or less, to a point <br /> in the Center of the County Road running from Sunol to Pleasanton, said point being also Station No. <br /> 3 of the exterior boundary of Plot No. 43 of the Bernal portion of the Rancho El Valle De San Jose; <br /> thence along the center line of said County Road South 34° 20' West 1.85 chains to the Westerly line <br /> of the Central Pacific Railroad right of way; thence along said line of said right of way Southwesterly <br /> 36.30 chains, more or less, to its intersection with the Southerly boundary line of said Plot No. 43; <br /> thence continuing along said line of said right of way and along the Easterly boundary line of a 93.64 <br /> acre tract described in Paragraph XXII of said deed last hereinbefore mentioned, South 33° 07' West <br /> 35.87 chains; thence South 29° 37' West 4.10 chains; thence South 17° 37' West 4.16 chains thence <br /> South 6° 14' West 3.68 chains; thence leaving said right of way South 89° 20' West 7.80 chains; <br /> thence leaving the Southerly boundary of said 93.64 acre tract North 45° 00' West 445.5 feet to a <br /> point in the Westerly boundary of said tract and the most Southerly corner of a 1.138 acre tract <br /> conveyed by the Suburban Company to the Spring Valley Water Works by said Deed last hereinbefore <br /> mentioned; thence continuing North 45° 00' West along the Southwesterly boundary thereof 305.8 <br /> feet; thence along the Southeasterly boundary of a 108.48 acre tract conveyed by the Suburban <br /> Company to Spring Valley Water Works by said Deed last hereinbefore mentioned, South 39° 30' <br /> West 8.83 chains thence South 27° 15' West 4.26 chains; thence South 16° West 4.72 chains; thence <br /> South 39° 15' West 2.13 chains; thence South 71° 45' West 2.63 chains; thence South 44° 30' West <br /> 1.74 chains; thence South 10° 15' East 3.26 chains to the center of Arroyo De La Laguna; thence <br /> down and along the center of said Arroyo which is also the Northeasterly boundary of a 22.84 acre <br /> tract described in Paragraph XIX of said Deed last hereinbefore mentioned in a Southeasterly direction <br /> 690.0 feet, more or less, to the most Easterly corner of said 22.84 acre tract; thence South 54° 00' <br /> West 8.61 chains; thence North 73° 59' West 10.03 chains to a point on the boundary between plots <br /> 46 and 49 of said Bernal portion of the Rancho El Valle De San Jose; thence along said boundary <br />
