MINUTES <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br /> June 15, 2010 <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> Mayor Hosterman called the regular meeting to order at the hour of 7:00 p.m. Councilmember <br /> Cook Kallio led the Pledge of Allegiance and provided the introductory remarks. <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> Present: Councilmembers Cook Kallio, McGovern, Sullivan, Thorne, Mayor Hosterman <br /> Absent: None <br /> CLOSED SESSION REPORT <br /> City Attorney Lowell reported the Council met in Closed Session to continue discussion on <br /> potential settlement of existing litigation, Urban Habitat vs. City of Pleasanton and that no <br /> reportable action was taken. In the event that settlement can be reached, staff would expect to <br /> bring those terms forward publicly on July 20 <br /> AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> City Manager Fialho noted that on the dais is a modification to the conditions of approval on <br /> Consent Calendar Item 7. Staff has added a sentence to clarify the intent of the Council and <br /> require that review of the application include an analysis of the height of the proposed buildings, <br /> consistent with the West Foothill Corridor overlay district, which shall be subject to final Planning <br /> Commission review. The modification is consistent with the Council's direction at its last meeting <br /> and can be approved as part of the Consent Calendar. <br /> Mr. Fialho stated Item 11 is continued at the request of staff to ensure that all noticing <br /> requirements have been observed, consistent with the settlement agreement with the interested <br /> parties. This item relates to the amended Stoneridge Drive Specific Plan and its Supplemental <br /> Environmental Impact Report (SEIR), and it is being rescheduled to a special meeting on <br /> Tuesday, August 24 <br /> Mayor Hosterman shared her frustration and stated that under Matters Initiated, she would <br /> request the Council's support to have every single item related to the Staples Ranch project <br /> before the Council on August 24 for final disposition. She invited any members of the public <br /> wishing to speak on the matter to do so under Meeting Open to the Public. <br /> CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> Administrative Services <br /> 1. Approved regular meeting minutes of May 4, 2010 <br /> 2. Adopted Resolution No. 10 -373 calling a General Municipal Election on November 2, <br /> 2010 for the purpose of electing a Mayor and two members to the City Council, and <br /> Resolution No. 10- 374 adopting regulations for candidate statements for elective office <br />
