CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA ORDINANCE NO. 1143 APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON TO PREZONE AN APPROXIMATELY 120 ACRE PARCEL AT 4432 AND 4440 FOOTHILL ROAD TO THE PUD-LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL/OPEN SPACE DISTRICT WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton initiated a prezoning of an approximately 120 acre site on the west side of Foothill Road opposite its intersection with West Las Positas Boulevard, commonly known as 4432 and 4440 Foothill Road to the PUD-Low Density Residential/Open Space District; and WHEREAS, based on the Initial Environmental Study indicating no significant adverse effects on the environment, a negative declaration was adopted by Council on May 8, 1984; and WHEREAS, Council received the Planning Commission's recommenda- tion for approval of the prezoning; and WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on May 8, 1984; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that this prezoning is consistent with the General Plan policies of the City of Pleasanton. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Approves the prezoning of an approximately 120 acre site on the west side of Foothill Road opposite its intersection with West Las Positas Boulevard, commonly known as 4432 and 4440 Foothill Road, which land is involved in Annexation No. 107, the western approx- imately one-half of the subject property to be prezoned PUD-Open Space District and the eastern remainder to be prezoned PUD-Low Density Residential District. Section 2: The Zoning Map of the City of Pleasanton dated April 18, 1960, on file with the City Clerk, designating and dividing the City into zoning districts is hereby amended by Zoning Unit Map #287, attached hereto as Exhibit A dated May 8, 1984, and incorporated herein by reference. Section 3: The City staff is directed to cause a Notice of Determination to be filed pursuant to Section 5.4(g) of Resolution No. 77-66.
