CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1143 <br /> <br /> APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> TO PREZONE AN APPROXIMATELY 120 ACRE PARCEL AT <br /> 4432 AND 4440 FOOTHILL ROAD TO THE PUD-LOW DENSITY <br /> RESIDENTIAL/OPEN SPACE DISTRICT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton initiated a prezoning of an <br /> approximately 120 acre site on the west side of <br /> Foothill Road opposite its intersection with West Las <br /> Positas Boulevard, commonly known as 4432 and 4440 <br /> Foothill Road to the PUD-Low Density Residential/Open <br /> Space District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, based on the Initial Environmental Study indicating <br /> no significant adverse effects on the environment, <br /> a negative declaration was adopted by Council on <br /> May 8, 1984; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Council received the Planning Commission's recommenda- <br /> tion for approval of the prezoning; and <br /> WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on May 8, 1984; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds that this prezoning is <br /> consistent with the General Plan policies of the <br /> City of Pleasanton. <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY <br /> ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> Section 1: Approves the prezoning of an approximately 120 acre <br /> site on the west side of Foothill Road opposite its <br /> intersection with West Las Positas Boulevard, commonly <br /> known as 4432 and 4440 Foothill Road, which land <br /> is involved in Annexation No. 107, the western approx- <br /> imately one-half of the subject property to be prezoned <br /> PUD-Open Space District and the eastern remainder to be <br /> prezoned PUD-Low Density Residential District. <br /> Section 2: The Zoning Map of the City of Pleasanton dated <br /> April 18, 1960, on file with the City Clerk, <br /> designating and dividing the City into zoning <br /> districts is hereby amended by Zoning Unit Map #287, <br /> attached hereto as Exhibit A dated May 8, 1984, and <br /> incorporated herein by reference. <br /> Section 3: The City staff is directed to cause a Notice of <br /> Determination to be filed pursuant to Section <br /> 5.4(g) of Resolution No. 77-66. <br /> <br /> <br />
