CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA ORDINANCE NO. 1136 APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON TO PREZONE PROPERTY CONTAINED IN ANNEXATION NO. 105 (CASE RZ-84-4) WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton is in the process of annexing property necessary for construction of an underpass at Bernal Avenue and the Western Pacific Railroad right-of-way; and WHEREAS, the subject property is approximately 5.6 acres in size and consists of two separate parcels, one on each side of the railroad right-of-way; and WHEREAS, the major portion of the subject property is street right-of-way and does not require prezoning, however, three separate portions of the subject site will not be right-of-way and should have City zoning assigned to them; and WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton initiated a prezoning of approximately one acre; one parcel being the northern- most portion of Parcel B to be rezoned to the "0" (Office) District and the two portions in Parcel A to be rezoned to the "A" (Agricultural) District; and WHEREAS, based on the Initial Environmental Study indicating no significant adverse effects on the environment, a negative declaration was adopted by Council on April 10, 1984; and WHEREAS, Council received the~Planning Commission's recommenda- tion for approval' of the prezoning; and WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on April 10, 1984; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that this prezoning is consistent with the General Plan policies of the City of Pleasanton; THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Approves the prezoning of the northernmost approximately 1/10th of Parcel B to the "0" (Office) District and prezoning of the two portions of Parcel A which will not be street right-of-way to the "A" (Agricultural) District, which land is involved in Annexation No. 105.
