RESOLUTION NO. 10- <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> DISBANDING THE TRAILS AD HOC COMMITTEE (TAC) AND THE BICYCLE <br /> PEDESTRIAN ADVISORY COMMITTEE (BPAC) <br /> WHEREAS, the Trails Ad Hoc Committee was established on September 16, 2003 to <br /> recommend and prioritize trail improvement projects and related matters; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Bicycle Pedestrian Advisory Committee was established on September <br /> 4, 2007 to develop a city -wide Pedestrian and Bicycle Master Plan; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Bicycle Pedestrian Advisory Committee's work is complete with the <br /> approval by the City Council of the city -wide Pedestrian and Bicycle Master Plan at the <br /> Council's February 16, 2010 meeting. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: <br /> SECTION 1: Express appreciation to the members of both the Trails Ad Hoc and the <br /> Bicycle Pedestrian Advisory Committees for their work, and disband both Committees in favor of <br /> a new combined Committee. <br /> SECTION 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and <br /> adoption. <br /> PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton at <br /> a regular meeting held on June 1, 2010. <br /> I, Karen Diaz, City Clerk of the City of Pleasanton, California, certify that the foregoing <br /> resolution was adopted by the City Council at a regular meeting held on 1st day of June, 2010 <br /> by the following vote: <br /> Ayes: <br /> Noes: <br /> Absent: <br /> Abstain: <br /> Karen Diaz, City Clerk <br /> APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> Jonathan P.
