All internal combustion engine driven equipment shall be equipped with exhaust mufflers maintained in good condition and appropriate for the equipment. Stationary noise generating equipment shall be located as far as feasible from sensitive receptors adjoining or located near the construction area. Except for security trailers staffed by licensed security personnel, at no time shall campers, trailers, motor homes, or any other vehicle be used as living or sleeping quarters on the construction site. All such vehicles shall be removed from the site at the end of each workday. A construction trailer shall be allowed to be placed on the project site for daily administration /coordination purposes during the construction period. Portable toilets used during construction shall be kept as far as possible from the existing apartment buildings and shall be emptied on a regular basis as necessary to prevent odor. Green Building Measures 30. The applicant shall implement the GreenPoint Checklist, Exhibit D, with the design and construction of the units covered by this approval. The applicant shall submit a list of all green building measures used in the design and construction of the units covered by this approval to the Planning Division for review and approval with the building permit plans and application. The apartments shall be designed and constructed to meet or exceed 100 points using the ACWMA's GreenPoints rating system, with a minimum of 10 points in each category (Resources, Energy, and IAQ /Health). The final GreenPoints measures and programs shall be stated on one of the first two pages of the plans submitted for issuance of a building permit. Each point identified shall have a notation showing on which sheet the item can be found. A special inspection by a representative from the Planning Division shall be coordinated with regards to landscaping, irrigation, and exterior materials. All of the green building measures indicated on the building permit plan set shall be inspected and approved by either the City of Pleasanton, a third party rater, or the applicants shall provide written verification by the project engineer, architect, landscape architect, or designer. Standard Conditions Building Conditions 31. The applicant shall obtain a building permit from the Building and Safety Division and any other applicable City permits for the development prior to the commencement of any construction including grading. 32. The applicant shall pay any and all fees to which the property may be subject prior to issuance of a building permit. The type and amount of the fees shall be those in effect at the time the building permit is issued. 5
