Youth are partners in the development, implementation and monitoring of all aspects of the <br /> Youth Master Plan of Pleasanton. <br /> The entire community will be encouraged to play an active role. <br /> The developmental needs of youth are at the core of the Youth Master Plan of Pleasanton. <br /> Youth are resources that playa valued role in the community. <br /> The welfare of the community is dependent on how we nurture, educate, respect and challenge <br /> youth. <br /> The Youth Master Plan of Pleasanton will support families as a valued entity, acknowledging <br /> that families come in many structures. <br /> The Plan established goals, objectives, and implementation strategies in the following areas: <br /> Child care and supervised youth activities <br /> Support of the City of Pleasanton's adopted Community of Character principles <br /> Healthy youth and families <br /> Intergenerational relationships <br /> Jobs and leadership <br /> Communication <br /> Coordination of the implementation of the Youth Master Plan <br /> The Youth Master Plan of Pleasanton serves as the guideline for establishing and maintaining an <br /> array of services to meet the many needs of Pleasanton youth. <br /> Short and Long Term Objectives <br /> The objectives presented in this section reflect the broad areas which will be pursued under this <br /> priority.
