-ge THE CITY OF <br /> 3 <br /> �L��Sf�NTONm CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br /> May 18, 2010 <br /> -Nay 4, 2010 <br /> Assistant City Manager <br /> TITLE: APPROVE THE FIVE -YEAR CONSOLIDATED PLAN (2010 -14) AND <br /> ANNUAL ACTION PLAN (2010 -11) FOR THE USE OF FEDERAL <br /> COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) FUNDS <br /> SUMMARY <br /> Pleasanton will receive $298,922 in federal CDBG funds for FY 2010 (2010/11). At the <br /> meeting of May 18, the Council will take action regarding the allocation of CDBG <br /> funding for FY 2010 as part of the allocation of Housing and Human Services Grant <br /> (HHSG) funding to local non profit agencies. This report summarizes the Five -Year <br /> Consolidated Plan and Annual Action Plan that must be submitted to HUD in order for <br /> the City to receive its FY 2010 allocation of CDBG funds. The report makes a <br /> recommendation to approve these documents. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> Approve the Five -Year Consolidated Plan for 2010 -2014 and the Annual Action Plan for <br /> Fiscal Year 2010 and direct staff to submit to HUD by the applicable deadline. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> The approval of the Five -Year Consolidated Plan and annual Action Plan will not have a <br /> direct fiscal impact on the City. As noted earlier, the City will receive $298,922 in CDBG <br /> funds for FY 2010 (2010/11). <br />
