CALL TO ORDER <br /> Vice Mayor Thorne called the special meeting to order at the hour of 6:32 p.m. <br /> 2. ROLL CALL <br /> Present: Councilmembers Cook- Kallio, McGovern, Sullivan, Thorne, Mayor Hosterman <br /> Absent: None <br /> 3. PUBLIC COMMENT: None <br /> 4. ADJOURN TO CLOSED SESSION FOR THE FOLLOWING: <br /> CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL EXISTING LITIGATION pursuant to <br /> Government Code §54956.9(a): <br /> Urban Habitat et al. v. City of Pleasanton, Alameda County Superior Court, State of <br /> California, Case No. RG06293831 <br /> The City Council unanimously authorized its legal counsel, the City Manager and a City Council <br /> subcommittee (consisting of Mayor Hosterman and Councilmember McGovern) to pursue <br /> settlement negotiations with the Urban Habitat Plaintiffs and the Attorney General, reserving the <br /> right to pursue other options in the event settlement negotiations are not successful. <br /> 5.
