CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA ORDINANCE NO. 1123 APPROVAL OF A MODIFICATION TO ORDINANCE NO. 928 CONDITIONALLY ALLOWING CHURCHES IN EXISTING STRUCTURES IN VALLEY BUSINESS PARK ~EREAS, the City of Pleasanton has applied to amend the conditions of Ordinance No. 928 (PUD-80-1-2M) relating to permitted and conditionally allowed uses to allow "churches and similar religious meeting facilities in existing structures"; and WHEREAS, at its duly noticed public hearing on January 24, 1984, the City Council considered all public testimony, relevant documents and recommendations of the City staff and Planning Commission; and WHEREAS, a modification of this type is considered to be categorically exempt under CEQA. For this reason, no environmental document accompanies this case; THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Condition No. 8 of Ordinance No. 928 governing permitted and conditionally allowed uses is hereby amended by adding subsection D.4. which states as follows: "churches and similar religious meeting facilities in existing structures." Section 2: This ordinance shall be published once within fifteen (15) days after its adoption in "The Valley Times," a newspaper of general circulation published in the City of Pleasanton. Section 3: This ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) days after the date of its final passage and adoption. INTRODUCED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Pleasanton on January 24, 1984. ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Pleasanton on February 14, 1984 by the following vote: AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Mercer, Mohr, Wood and Mayor Butler NOES: None ABSENT: None ABSTAIN: None ROBERT E.
