CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA ORDINANCE NO. 1121 APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF LEISURE SPORTS, INC. FOR REZONING AND DEVELOPMEaNT PLAN APPROVAL FOR A HOTEL AND RELATED FACILITIES AT 7090 JOHNSON DRIVE WHEREAS, Leisure Sports, Inc. applied for development plan approval for construction of an approximately 181,000 sq. ft., 298 room, five story hotel/con- vention center, additional tennis courts and related facilities on an approximately 16.8 acre site at 7090 Johnson Drive and to have the property rezoned from I-G (General Industrial) to the "PUD" (Planned Unit Development)-Industrial, Commercial and Offices District; and WHEREAS, based on the Initial Environmental Study, a mitigated negative declaration was adopted by Council on January 24, 1984; and WHEREAS, Council received the Planning Commission's recommend- ation for approval of the development Dlan and rezoning; and WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on January 24, 1984; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that this development plan and rezoning is consistent with the General Plan policies of the City of Pleasanton. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Approves the development Dlan for an approximately 181,000 sq. ft., 298 room, five story hotel/convention center, additional tennis courts and related facilities on an approximately 16.8 acre site at 7090 Johnson Drive, subject to the conditions on Exhibit "A" attached hereto and by this re~erence incorporated herein. Section 2: Approves the rezoning of an approximately 16.8 acre site at 7090 Johnson Drive from the "I-G" (General Industrial) to the "PUD (Planned Unit Development)-Indus- trial, Commercial and Offices" District. Section 3: The Zoning Map of the City of Pleasanton dated April 18, 1960, on file with the City Clerk, designating and dividing the City into zoning
