CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1121 <br /> <br /> APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF LEISURE SPORTS, INC. <br /> FOR REZONING AND DEVELOPMEaNT PLAN APPROVAL FOR <br /> A HOTEL AND RELATED FACILITIES AT 7090 JOHNSON <br /> DRIVE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Leisure Sports, Inc. applied for development plan <br /> approval for construction of an approximately <br /> 181,000 sq. ft., 298 room, five story hotel/con- <br /> vention center, additional tennis courts and <br /> related facilities on an approximately 16.8 acre <br /> site at 7090 Johnson Drive and to have the <br /> property rezoned from I-G (General Industrial) to <br /> the "PUD" (Planned Unit Development)-Industrial, <br /> Commercial and Offices District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, based on the Initial Environmental Study, a mitigated <br /> negative declaration was adopted by Council on <br /> January 24, 1984; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Council received the Planning Commission's recommend- <br /> ation for approval of the development Dlan and <br /> rezoning; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on January 24, <br /> 1984; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that this development plan <br /> and rezoning is consistent with the General Plan <br /> policies of the City of Pleasanton. <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY <br />ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the development Dlan for an approximately <br /> 181,000 sq. ft., 298 room, five story hotel/convention <br /> center, additional tennis courts and related facilities <br /> on an approximately 16.8 acre site at 7090 Johnson <br /> Drive, subject to the conditions on Exhibit "A" <br /> attached hereto and by this re~erence incorporated <br /> herein. <br /> <br />Section 2: Approves the rezoning of an approximately 16.8 acre <br /> site at 7090 Johnson Drive from the "I-G" (General <br /> Industrial) to the "PUD (Planned Unit Development)-Indus- <br /> trial, Commercial and Offices" District. <br /> <br />Section 3: The Zoning Map of the City of Pleasanton dated <br /> April 18, 1960, on file with the City Clerk, <br /> designating and dividing the City into zoning <br /> <br /> <br />
