CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1114 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 5-6.01, ARTICLE 1, <br /> CHAPTER 6, TITLE V (VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC, STREETS <br /> AND HIGHWAYS) OF THE ORDINANCE CODE OF THE CITY <br /> OF PLEASANTON RELATING TO SPEED LIMITS <br /> <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: Article 1 (Increase in State SDeed Limit in Certain <br /> Zones) of Chapter 6 (Speed Zones) of Title V (Vehicles <br /> and Traffic, Streets and Highways) of the Ordinance <br /> Code of the City of Pleasanton is amended to add the <br /> following: <br /> <br /> "S-1 St. Marys Street. On St. Marys Street between <br /> Division Street and Peters Avenue, the speed <br /> limit shall be 30 miles per hour." <br /> <br /> Section 2: This ordinance shall be Dublished once within fifteen <br /> (15) days after its adoption in "The Valley Times," a <br /> newspaper of general circulation published in the <br /> City of Pleasanton. <br /> <br /> Section 3: This ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) days <br /> after the date of its final passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> INTRODUCED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City <br /> of Pleasanton on December 6, 1983. <br /> <br /> ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br /> Pleasanton on January 9, 1984 by the following vote: <br /> <br /> AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Mercer, Mohr, Wood and <br /> Mayor Butler <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> ATTEST: <br />RW'~ ~X~~~o ROBERT E.
