RESOLUTION NO. 10 -335 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, ADOPTING THE <br /> PEDESTRIAN AND BICYCLE MASTER PLAN <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has applied for and received a grant from the <br /> Alameda County Transportation Improvement Authority (ACTIA) for $111,000 in Measure B <br /> funding for the Creation of a Pedestrian and Bicycle Master Plan; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton prepared a Draft Pedestrian and Bicycle Master <br /> Plan; and <br /> WHEREAS, on June 17, 2009 the Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee <br /> recommended approval of the Plan; and <br /> WHEREAS, on July 27, 2009 the Trails Ad Hoc Committee recommended approval of <br /> the Plan; and <br /> WHEREAS, on August 27, 2009 the Parks and Recreation Commission recommended <br /> approval of the Plan; and <br /> WHEREAS, on February 16, 2010 the City Council certified the Initial Study and <br /> Mitigated Negative Declaration for the project, finding that the Initial Study was in compliance <br /> with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: <br /> Section 1: Adopts the Pleasanton Pedestrian and Bicycle Master Plan, dated January <br /> 2010. <br /> Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and <br /> adoption. <br /> PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton at <br /> a regular meeting held on February 16, 2010. <br /> I, Karen Diaz, City Clerk of the City of Pleasanton, California, certify that the foregoing <br /> resolution was adopted by the City Council at a regular meeting held on the 16 day of <br /> February, 2010, by the following vote: <br /> Ayes: Councilmembers Cook- Kallio, McGovern, Sullivan, Thorne, Mayor Hosterman <br /> Noes: None <br /> Absent: None <br /> Abstain: None <br /> Kare Diaz, City Clerk <br /> APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> Jonattj n Lowell, City Attorney <br />
